WHAT IS ECO4 ?

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) was launched in the UK in 2013 and has since helped 2.4 million homes improve their energy efficiency. We are now in the fourth phase, ECO4. This scheme aims to enhance energy efficiency in homes across the UK by installing measures that retain heat, reducing energy consumption. This can cut your energy bills by up to £1000 per year and lower carbon emissions.

The project is funded by the UK’s largest energy providers, who contribute based on their market share, making it completely free for you.

Eco4 is intended for those on low income or receiving benefits. Low income is defined as a household that earns less than £31,000 per year.

There are also acceptance criteria for people with health conditions and disabilities to ensure those that need it most receive the funding they deserve.
